What Calls Us is an invitation to dream, to listen to the quiet voice within, and to dare to follow what calls us toward something new.
There is innocence in her gaze, but also the trace of something she has lived through. A tenderness and vulnerability coexist with an inner strength, the feeling of having been hurt, yet choosing to move forward. Surrounded by nature, she stands at the threshold of a new beginning, looking toward what might be possible.
For me, the natural world is deeply connected to the feminine. Nature becomes a space of reflection, possibility, and renewal, a reminder of the strength, intuition, and immense potential that women carry within themselves.
The painting invites us to pause and ask ourselves: What is calling us? And what might become possible if we allow ourselves to dream and follow it?
