My Story

I was born in Salto, Uruguay, in 1976, and since childhood I felt drawn to both drawing and medicine. Life took me on a different path—I became a mother at twenty, and in 2000 I emigrated to the United States. Between raising three children and working different jobs, art was not yet part of my daily life.

Years later, seeking change, I turned to meditation, reading, and reflection. One night I had a dream—something unusual for me to remember. It was vivid, filled with color and surreal landscapes. That dream moved me deeply, and the next day I bought my first canvas, brushes, and paints. That moment marked the beginning of my artistic journey.

Since then, I have embraced painting, pyrography, and mixed media as ways to explore transformation, memory, and the beauty hidden in life’s layers. Each piece I create begins with a vision, but it is the art itself that guides me to the end. My hope is that through my work, you find not only my story, but a reflection of your own.
