The Places We Carry explores the invisible connection between who we are and the places, memories, and experiences that shape us.

The woman becomes part of a landscape where birds, butterflies, flowers, and branches move freely around her, while a small house rests close to her heart. It suggests that home is not always a place we return to; sometimes it is something we carry within us.

The painting reflects on belonging, memory, freedom, and the many places we inhabit throughout our lives. As women, we carry stories, roots, dreams, and possibilities with us, while still having the freedom to grow, change, and find new places to call our own.

For me, nature becomes a companion in this journey: a reminder that we are constantly connected to where we come from, where we are, and where we are becoming.
